Thika Women to Get Lion's Share of Uwezo Fund

Half of the Sh17 million of Uwezo Fund in Thika Town constituency will go to women groups to start table banking, MP Alice Ng'ang'a has said. She said this will improve the lives of women and the society.

The MP was speaking at Kimuchu Primary School while presiding over the groundbreaking ceremony of the extension of Kimuchu AP Post at a cost of Sh4 million. She urged women to write proposals and apply for loans to start businesses.
