New Titanium Dioxide Nanotechnology Study Findings Have Been Reported by Q.Y. Wang and Co-Researchers (Controlled synthesis of Cu nanoparticles on TiO2 nanotube array photoelectrodes and their photoelectrochemical properties)

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Energy Weekly News -- New research on Nanotechnology is the subject of a report. According to news reporting out of Shanghai, People's Republic of China, by VerticalNews editors, research stated, "TiO2 NTs/Cu photoelectrodes were prepared by coating Cu nanoparticles on the tube wall of the self-organized TiO2 nanotube arrays using a successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction method."

Our news journalists obtained a quote from the research, "The structural investigation by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy indicated that Cu nanoparticles grew uniformly on the walls of TiO2 nanotubes."

According to the news editors, the research concluded: "The modification of Cu nanoparticles improved the photoresponse and photocurrent density of TiO2 NTs into the visible light region."
