(GWB) announced that it has filed a registration statement (Form S-1) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock currently held by National Americas Holdings, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of National Australia Bank Limited (NAB).
The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.
GWB will be the holding company for Great Western Bank, a full-service regional bank focused on relationship-based business and agribusiness banking. The bank services its customers through 162 branches in seven states: South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas and Missouri.
The registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
