Fund of First President of Kazakhstan becomes major shareholder of Bank RBK

Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan has become a major shareholder of the Bank RBK, said the National Bank.

The central bank, however, has not indicated the amount of shares acquired by a new shareholder.

But according to the law of Kazakhstan, a status of a major shareholder is given to those legal entities that own shares of the bank in the amount of 10% - 24.99%.

The Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan is a non-profit organization pursuing social, charitable, cultural, educational and other public policy objectives.

To date, the only major shareholder of the Bank RBK was head of the SBS Group of industrial companies and mining companies Farid Lyuhudzyaev.
