Angola : ANGOLA STANDARD BANK supports economy of ANGOLA

Pedro Pinto Coelho, the Chief Executive Officer of the Standard Bank Angola (SBA) declared that the bank aids the economy of Angola, capturing deposits that are converted into credits to different sections of the society.

According to Pedro Coelho, the biggest support given by the bank goes to the area of infrastructures, helping the country finance infrastructures related to the sectors of transport and energy, as they are relevant areas for the country to es ablish and diversify the economy.

He commented "The bank has been supporting the economy of Angola, exercising their function just like any other bank operating in the country." The bank is even helping private companies in need to see their business grow.

The bank does not use the resources of the institution itself in the case of large projects, but looks for other investors both internally and internationally, he further added.
