Gas Technology Institute Assigned Patent

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 1 -- Gas Technology Institute, Des Plaines, Illinois, has been assigned a patent (8,816,144) developed by four co-inventors for the "direct production of fractionated and upgraded hydrocarbon fuels from biomass." The co-inventors are Larry G. Felix, Pelham, Alabama, Martin B. Linck, Grayslake, Illinois, Terry L. Marker, Palos Heights, Illinois, and Michael J. Roberts, Itasca, Illinois.
