DESCRIPTION: COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. The solicitation document, F4FTAV4148A002, is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76.

This requirement is for brand name Red Hat Enterprise Linux training. See attached Bill of Materials for requirement specifications

Delivery shall be as follows: Training: within 2 months After Receipt of Order (ARO) Exams administered: within 12 months ARO

Award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror. Offerors are required to be an authorized Red Hat partner.

Anticipated Award Date is: 15 Sep 2014

Mrs. Jill Willingham-Allen has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
