Bulgaria : MAX brings LTE services to PLEVEN

Max, a Bulgarian mobile operator (formerly Max Telecom) has introduced its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Pleven, the third largest city in Northern Bulgaria.

This will benefit subscribers in the city with theoretical download speeds of up to 75Mbps.

Now, the LTE network is available in Sofia, Bansko, Stara Zagora, Sliven and Ruse. By the end of year, the operator is planning to achieve 50% coverage of the urban population in Bulgaria.

The launch of 4G LTE in Pleven is a crucial step which showcases Max s plans for steady growth. Our goal is to achieve 50% coverage of the urban population in the country by the end of the year. We believe that 4G LTE is the future of mobile internet and users in Bulgaria will appreciate our modern services, said Maria Toycheva, chief marketing officer at Max.
