Brazil : COPEL TELECOM announces expansion of broadband to NORTH PARANA

In September, Brazil-based Copel Telecom is planning to expand its broadband service through optical fibre to the north of Parana.

Cornelio Procopio will add 22 other cities in the interior of the state, along with Curitiba, that are included by the residential internet network of the company.

As per the new plans, the cheapeast package provide a 20 Mbps connection with the cost of BRL 109.90/month. At the same time the highest speed package obtains 100 Mbps for a price of BRL 349.90/month.

The initiating plan provides 40 Mbps for cost of BRL 139.90, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba.

Copel serves about 8,000 broadband network customers throughout the state of Parana.

By the end of 2014, the company expects to obtain 20,000.
