Covidien Assigned Patent for Manufacturing Handheld Medical Devices

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 8 -- Covidien, Mansfield, Massachusetts, has been assigned a patent (8,745,846) developed by four co-inventors for a method "for manufacturing handheld medical devices including microwave amplifier unit." The co-inventors are Jeffrey L. Jensen, Boulder, Colorado, Scott E. M. Frushour, Boulder, Colorado, Robert J. Behnke II, Erie, Colorado, and Wayne L. Moul, Loveland, Colorado.
