Xinjiang H1 Short-term Export Credit Insurance Premium Up

XINJIANG, August 7, SinoCast -- Xinjiang Autonomous Region achieved premium revenue from short-term export credit insurance of USD 854,000 by the end of June 2014, surging 101.61% over the end of the first quarter and 40.92% over the same period of a year earlier.

The amount insured hit USD 123 million, surging 105.22% over the end of the first quarter and falling 18% over the same period of a year earlier; served and supported clients for 98 times, growing four over the end of the first quarter and 21 over the same period of a year earlier; loss amount reported hit USD 188,800, the same as the end of the first quarter and falling 91.42% over the same period of a year earlier.

From 2014, the Xinjiang insurance industry has accepted insurance for TBEA's buyers' credit project for Soyo-Kapary power transmission and distribution in Angola, with the amount insured of USD 1.474 billion and insurance premium of USD 98.7329 million.
