Teachers producing poor result in matric exam to face the music

Education department Rawalpindi has decided to take action against the heads of the schools and teachers who have shown poor performance in matric examination.

Education Department Rawalpindi has sought details of matric examination result from heads of all the government schools in district Rawalpindi. 3 annual increments will be stopped in respect of the teachers who have produced 10 percent result, 2 annual increments of the teachers with 20 percent result and one annual increment in respect of the teachers with 30 percent result.

The teachers who have shown above 40 percent result will be awarded cash prizes and advance annual increment.

Sources said Provincial Schools Education Department has directed EDOs Education to initiate action against the schools which have performed poorly in matric examination and send their reports.
