Aug. 07--Esco Technologies reported third-quarter earnings of $11.6 million, or 43 cents per share, compared with $4.9 million, or 18 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
Quarterly sales for the Ladue-based supplier of hardware and software to the utility and aviation businesses rose 12 percent, to $130.5 million.
Esco also announced the addition of Vinod M. Khilnani to the company's board and the retirement of board member James D. Woods.
