MIAMI, FL - Nominations are open for the national Tecla Awards for excellence in Hispanic blogging, micro-blogging, and social media and digital marketing. Nominations will remain open through Nov. 19.

Named after the Spanish-language word for an individual key on a keyboard, the Tecla Awards are being conducted by Hispanicize 2015 and the Latina Mom Bloggers network in partnership with iBlog Magazine.

Awards will be presented to 20 Latino bloggers, vloggers and micro-bloggers and 10 brands, agencies and media companies. Finalists will be announced in December.

Winners will be announced at an awards gala that kicks off Hispanicize 2015 Week on March 16 in Miami's InterContinental Downtown hotel.

Awards process

A panel of 30 judges consisting of bloggers, brand marketers and marketing agencies will select the winners.

The awards are open to bloggers who are either Latino or create content that targets Hispanic and/or multicultural audiences. A blogger's Web traffic or number of followers is irrelevant.

Partners of the Hispanicize brand of companies and individuals from other blogger content marketing networks aren't eligible, but the brands and agencies that work with them may submit entries.
