Jason Key Appointed Head of Business Development for Lincoln Financial Group’s Institutional Retirement Distribution Team

RADNOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lincoln Financial Groupís (NYSE:LNC) Retirement Plan Services business announces that Jason Key has been promoted to Head of Business Development for its Institutional Retirement Distribution (IRD) team, reporting to John Morabito, Head of IRD. Key assumed the role on an interim basis last month and was previously a Business Development Director supporting the South and Midwest regions of the country. In his new role, he is responsible for leading the business development efforts and helping the team build lasting relationships with national and regional independent registered advisor firms, and advisors in broker dealer and consulting firms.

Key has more than 14 years of financial services experience and has been with Lincolnís retirement business since 2002. During his tenure at Lincoln, heís held a variety of roles supporting the business including Head of Communication and Education for the Southern and Western regions of the country. Prior to joining Lincoln, Key worked at Wall Street Capitol and New York Life in sales and client relationship management positions.

Key holds a bachelorís degree from North Carolina State University and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) and holds Series 6 and 63 licenses. He is also Program Committee Chair for the Southern Employee Benefits Conference (SEBC). Key is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
