BRIEF: Pittsburgh Symphony seeks student singers

Aug. 05--PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is looking for high school and college-aged singers to compose the symphony's Student Chorale for a series of October concerts.

The students will perform in the Pittsburgh Symphony PNC Pops' Oct. 17 to 19 "Heroes and Villains" shows at Heinz Hall. "Heroes and Villains," conducted by Lucas Richman, will feature music from a variety of movie scores.

The PSO Student Chorale is open to students in grades 10 to 12, as well as college singers. The chorale will total 60 members and all rehearsals will take place in October.
