BRIEF: Gardens P.F. Chang's customers' credit card data may have been stolen

Aug. 04--The Asian restaurant chain P.F. Chang's China Bistro said a data may have led to personal information being stolen from credit and debit cards used at 33 restaurants nationwide, including one in Palm Beach Gardens, according to USA Today.

The chain said that numbers, names and expiration dates tied to certain cards used between October 19, 2013 and June 11, 2014 may have been stolen.

The data breach was first reported June 11, a day after the Secret Service informed the company of the breach.

A list of the restaurants affected and their most vulnerable dates was posted by the company, including three locations in Florida -- Palm Beach Gardens, Clearwater and Winter Park.

P.F. Chang's recommends that customers visit its website's security page for answers to relevant questions and to review recent financial records.
