Aug. 04--GREENSBORO -- The City Council will discuss service contracts at a special meeting this afternoon.
The 4 p.m. special meeting was called to address the issue after some members raised concerns over a recent contract awarded to a vocal critic of the council.
At the regular meeting, which is expected to start at 5:30 p.m., council could vote on the design team that will create the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts downtown.
