Four held in Sharjah for warehouse robbery

The Sharjah Police have arrested four Pakistanis who allegedly stole electronic devices worth Dh238,000 after breaking into a warehouse in Sharjah Industrial Area number six.







About 900 laptops and mobile phones of various brands were stored in the warehouse, the police said.







The owners of the warehouse called the police after they discovered the robbery recently.







A Criminal Investigation Department team launched a probe and collected forensic evidence, following which the main suspect was arrested.







This accused led the police to the other three. All four have reportedly confessed to robbing the warehouse and they will be referred to the public prosecution, the police said.







The police recovered the stolen electronic devices from the house where the four accused were staying.
