BRIEF: Community chorus seeks singers for "Messiah"

Aug. 30--CEDAR FALLS -- Metropolitan Chorale, the oldest and largest community chorus in the Cedar Valley, will have its first rehearsal on Sept. 8 at Cedar Falls High School Choral room.

Registration will be at 7 p.m., with rehearsal from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Eleven "Messiah" choruses will be prepared for a 4 p.m.Dec. 13 concert at Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. The chorale will be directed by Jason Weinberger, conductor of the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony.
