Group Urges CBN Gov to Strengthen Naira

The newly appointed Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, has been advised to maximise his banking ingenuities that has seen him becoming the boss of the apex bank to strengthen the power of the naira.

Onyeneves-ikian of Agbor Kingdom, Jeremiah Imudia, stated this in Agbor, headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, urging Emefiele to put all machineries in place and pull necessary force to strengthen the naira so that the youths should not be leaving the country for overseas in quest for golden flees.

The Chairman of Otu-Okiroro group also called on the CBN governor to evolve the policies that would make banking sector friendly to industrialists, businessmen and women, and the generality of Nigerians, enjoining him to strive hard to justify the confidence reposed in him by through his appointment.
