"I just really believe theater is for kids," said Mutch,
Children who would like to participate in theater will have their chance to show their talent at the auditions Saturday.
There are 44 speaking parts available and eight assisting main character roles. For the sixth year, the theater will have open auditions for any child who wants to be involved.

The play is based on the film "A Night at the Museum" and is about a group of children who get separated from their teacher while on a field trip at a museum and get locked inside for the night.
"It's a suspense comedy," Mutch said.
Those who audition will perform an open reading from the script. Mutch said all children are welcome whether or not they have theater experience.
"Don't think you can't do it," Mutch said. "We are all theater people, and we will help you get on stage."
For those who cannot make it Saturday, special arrangements can be made. Call-backs will be on Sunday.
Mutch said that taking on a role is a big responsibility.
"It's very time-consuming," Mutch said. "Parents need to take that into consideration."
Children who are selected for a role will receive scripts Monday. They will have a week to read and decide whether they want to accept the part. Rehearsal begins
