The Law Offices of Hoyt & Bryan to Host 6th Annual Special Needs Conference

August 29, 2014

Oviedo, FL (PRWEB) August 29, 2014

For the sixth straight year, one of Florida's leading elder law and estate planning law firms, The Law Offices of Hoyt & Bryan, has organized its Sixth Annual Special Needs Conference. The conference this year is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2014, and will be held at their offices located at One Senior Place, 715 Douglas Avenue, in Altamonte Springs, Florida from 9AM to 4PM.

The conference is intended to offer information on a wide variety of topics that individuals and families with special needs often encounter. Topics include the Med Waiver wait list, transition planning, guardianships and guardian advocacy, special needs trusts and Individual Education Programs (IEPs).

"There just aren't enough educational resources for families with special needs," said Peggy Hoyt about the annual conference. "Families can easily get lost in the paperwork and bureaucracy of it all. Families with special needs typically don't have a lot of time and energy to spare but they are precisely the people who need help the most. Our Special Needs Conference is just one way of "giving back" by providing education, networking and connecting families with the resources and advice they need."

A complimentary lunch and conference materials will be provided. Reservations are required and interested persons are asked to call 407-977-8080 to confirm their reservation. Speakers include Richard Culbertson of Culbertson Law, Pam Lindemann from the IEP Advocate, Krissy Stewart from CECO, and Peggy Hoyt, Randy Bryan and Sarah AuMiller of the Law Offices of Hoyt and Bryan, who will present "Understanding the Difference between Guardianships and Guardian Advocacy."
