Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: PSP

The PowerShares Global Listed Private Equity Portfolio ETF (PSP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 643,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 512,000. Shares of PSP were down about 0.3% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Regions Financial (RF), trading off about 0.4% with over 3.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Prospect Capital (PSEC), off about 0.4% on volume of over 2.4 million shares. PICO Holdings (PICO) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 1.2% on the day, while Safeguard Scientifics (SFE) is lagging other components of the PowerShares Global Listed Private Equity Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 2.7%.
