St. Jude Medical Assigned Patent for Collapsible Prosthetic Heart Valves

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 28 -- St. Jude Medical, St. Paul, Minnesota, has been assigned a patent (8,808,366) developed by six co-inventors for a "stent features for collapsible prosthetic heart valves." The co-inventors are Ott Khouengboua, Chaska, Minnesota, Yousef F. Alkhatib, Edina, Minnesota, Thomas M. Benson, Minneapolis, Aaron J. Chalekian, Minneapolis, Julia A. Neuman, Minneapolis, and Peter N. Braido, Wyoming, Minnesota.
