Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research, Sorin Group Italia Assigned Patent

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 28 -- Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research, Rochester, Minnesota, and Sorin Group Italia, Milan, have been assigned a patent (8,808,367) developed by six co-inventors for a "prosthetic valve delivery system including retrograde/antegrade approach." The co-inventors are Rakesh Mark Suri, Rochester, Minnesota, and Brent Russell Phillips, Rochester, Minnesota, Giovanni Rolando, Chivasso, Italy, Giovanni Righini, Chivasso-Torino, Italy, Eric Manasse, Milan, and Franco Vallana, Turin, Italy.
