Global Champions Split Corp. Announces 2014 Semi-Annual Results

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 28, 2014) - Global Champions Split Corp. ("Global Champions" or the "Company") (TSX:GCS.PR.A) announced today that its net assets per unit, as determined for financial reporting purposes, was $53.04 at June 30, 2014.

Portfolio securities and net assets totaled $107.1 million and $60.9 million, respectively, as at June 30, 2014 compared to $101.7 million and $54.5 million at December 31, 2013. The increase was driven by the increase in the fair value of the Company's portfolio securities. Net assets per unit consists of one preferred share and one capital share. The net asset value per unit, as determined for retraction purposes, is posted daily on our website at www.globalchampions.com.
