BRIEF: Alma arts festival set for Sunday

Aug. 28--ALMA, Wis. -- Original art, live music and kids activities are part of the Alma Music and Arts Festival, which will be held Sunday at the Alma Beach and Marina.

Music is by the String Ties Band, the Old Fashioneds, the Fly Rite Girls and the Riverbenders from 11:30 .m. to 7 p.m. Storyteller Kenny Salwey will take the stage from 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In addition, there will be food vendors, pony rides and an eagle from the National Eagle Center.

Admission is free. The marina is located off Wisconsin Highway 35 north of downtown Alma.
