BRIEF: Check it out: Vetfest USA in Orlando

August 27, 2014

By Tod Caviness, Orlando Sentinel

Aug. 27--WHAT -- Food trucks, bands and more converge in the shade to support American veterans at this patriotic tribute in an offbeat venue. The "Underfour Church Street Amphitheater" is better known as a parking lot underneath Interstate 4 in downtown Orlando, but this weekend will see the space filled with music as country singer Darryl Worley and Eagles tribute band The Long Run take to the stage, along with a reunion concert by Rosie O'Grady's performers (pictured during the heydays of the former Church Street Station landmark). Elsewhere on the grounds, expect variety vendors, street performers, a military hardware display and a car-crushing appearance by the mammoth "Robosaurus" robot.

WHERE: Underfour Church Street Amphitheater, Church Street and Garland Avenue, Orlando
