Thousands gathered to form giant Ataturk portrait

ANKARA (CIHAN)- Six thousand volunteers gathered in Turkish National Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's mausoleum - Anitkabir - to form giant portrait of him within the scope of Dumlupinar battle's anniversary celebrations. Dumlupinar battle, with another name Supreme Command battle was one of the final battles in Turkey's War of Independence.



The event that was organized by the photographer Cumhur AygÜn who have gathered six thousand black-wearing volunteers at Anitkabir to form a giant Ataturk portrait which also will became a candidate for "Guinness Records Book".
