August 25, 2014

Mission Engineering Inc has inked a deal with Scuffham Amps for adding an extended license for S-Gear software amplification and effects with Mission Gemini digital amplifiers.

It is expected that Gemini with Mission EmPower Technology features an on board bit perfect 24bit, 192KHz Class 2 stereo USB audio interface that lets musicians connect Gemini amps directly with software based guitar systems on computers, tablets and smartphones without any additional hardware.

Customers will have everything they need to run a state of the art digital guitar system right out of the box by including S-Gear with Gemini amplifiers.

Mission CEO, James Lebihan said, We used S-Gear extensively during development and testing. You could say that Gemini was designed for S-Gear, so we are excited to partner with Scuffham to include this extended license. Gemini with S-Gear is a one stop shop for a great sounding guitar rig.

Scuffham Amps founder, Mike Scuffham said, More and more guitarists are discovering the benefits of using software based amplifiers and effects for their music. With Gemini, Mission Engineering provides a simple solution for guitarists looking to use their software based guitar setup in a live environment.
