The Guide: BOOKING NOW

August 23, 2014

The free ticket bonanza that is the iTunes festival has announced a second tranche of acts who'll adorn the Roundhouse stage this autumn (1-30 Sep, The Roundhouse, NW1). Fans can sign up for tickets to see Elbow (pictured), the Script and Lenny Kravitz, who join hat-wearing hitmaker Pharrell Williams, Beck and Blondie, among many others. Register your interest at itunesfestival.com . . . If you like to avoid ticket lotteries you can buy some for Alt-J's arena tour. They've added an extra London date, in January, to their almost sold-out run (tour starts, Glasgow Academy, 18 Sep, altjband.com) . . . If you prefer your indie bands a little more experimental then you can do worse than Leeds-based Adult Jazz, who'll be road-testing their well-received debut album Gist Is this winter (10-15 Nov, tour starts Belgrave Music Hall, Leeds, adultjazz.tumblr.com/live) . . . Also out and about in November are the Wailers who are on a lengthy exodus around the UK (3-10 Nov, tour starts O2 ABC, Glasgow, gigsandtours.com) . . . Finally, Disclosure's pal and one of New York's new rap breed, Joey Bada$$ comes over to Blighty for a five-date jaunt (19-25 Nov, tour starts Riverside, Newcastle, ticketmaster.co.uk). lanre bakare
