A staff member sparked the idea, and they found music that went with the theme. Taylor said the performance portrays the three inspirations and how they influenced the world, including technological advances and issues.
"In the marching band world, you get a lot of different shows, and then a lot of shows where you see the same thing," Taylor said. "It's a fresh new look and it brings some old and new together, as well."
People can bring their blankets and lawn chairs to the park and just relax.
The concert is an opportunity for the community to listen to both bands and focus on the music, Taylor said. A lot of the audience's attention during football season is focused on the game, and fewer people are willing to travel with the Marching Arabians for their band competitions across the state.

"You get a wide variety of music," Taylor said. "... You get the best band for your buck."
