ALCATEL SETS SALES TARGET FOR HANDSETS

Hong Kong-based Alcatel OneTouch plans to sell over 5 lakh units of its mobile phones in southern and western regions of India. The company has launched a total of seven models in the Indian market and expects to sell over five lakh units of these handsets in a year. These handsets are priced between Rs10,000 and Rs30,000. The company also intends to launch two smart phones in Oct 2014.
