JTG's 'Broadway' musical continues

The Jacksonville Theatre Guild musical "Give My Regards to Broadway" continues this weekend at the Nichols Park pavilion. The show follows two men as they try to stage a Broadway show without money, thinking they'll find investors if they can get a star to accept the play's lead role. While the star's opinion of that plan doesn't quite mesh with their own, the men find their efforts further complicated by the arrival of a bookie who's trying to hide from the mob and thinks the theater is a good place to do just that. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday at and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets, which are $10 for adults and $5 for children, are available through the JTG office at 217-245-1402 or at the door 30 minutes prior to showtime.
