Iranian products challenge foreign monopoly over technology

August 20, 2014

TEHRAN, Aug. 20 (MNA) – The 12th annual meeting and conference of Pardis Park distinguished companies has unveiled 5 products. The meeting, where presidential deputy for science and technology attended, unveiled new products including high-pressure tanks, high-torque motors, haemodialysis machine, inspection robot for fluid transfer piping networks, and school educational package for electronics, optics, and communications package in the Pardis Park venue. High-pressure tanks have applications in passenger planes in cockpit for the pilot when jettisoning in emergent occasions. The tank is highly stable (more than 150bar). These tanks are highly useful in ship, oxygen carriers and firefighting in the cabin. The domestically developed product is five times lighter than the exported tanks. Inspection robot is also among the unveiled products in Pardis Park. They are useful in regular and routine maintenance and monitor practices in underground pipelines, oil and gas transfer lines, and city water networks. The robot immediately detects bugs and cracks in the network and initiates the necessary process to address and solve the issues, thus preventing serious damages to the environment. They also have applications in inaccessible environments such as reservoirs and pipes. Portable laboratory is indispensible for any middle school to carry out experiments in science courses. The portable laboratory helps meet the immediate needs of country's schools where they lack the necessary facilities in short run. The laboratory would provide space for experiments in optics, electricity, and electronic communications typical of a middle school physics courses in the curricula. Teaching along with a laboratory has the advantage that students better understand the physical concepts taught by the teacher in the classroom in more concrete ways. Haemodialysis machine has been also developed by the Pardis Park companies and would be of great help for patients suffering kidney malfunction and dysfunction. Hospitals and specialist clinics are typical target markets of the product that provide kidney malfunction treatment services. The number of patients seeking haemodialysis services in the country would indicate the demand for such machines. The product enjoys indigenously developed software; a GPRS modem controls the machines performance and errors; it provides spare parts inside the country which are accessible in lower costs compared to imported parts. High-torque motors have applications in helicopters in regulating movement, which would be of use in helicopter industries. These motors are mounted on N2011 operation copters and rules out imports from foreign countries. SH MNA END
