Dangdang Announces Second Quarter 2014 Results

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at China Weekly News -- E-Commerce China Dangdang Inc. ("Dangdang" or the "Company") (NYSE: DANG), a leading business-to-consumer e-commerce company in China, announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014.

Second Quarter 2014 Highlights

-- Gross Merchandise Value ("GMV") from the marketplace in the second

quarter of 2014 was RMB1,431.4 million ($230.7 million), an 81.6%

increase from the corresponding period in 2013. Total net revenues for

the second quarter of 2014 were RMB1,960.8 million ($316.1 million), a

31.3% increase from the corresponding period in 2013. The combination of

product revenue from principal business and GMV from the marketplace

reached RMB3,311.7 million ($533.8 million) and grew 49.3% year over
