Designed by architects SKM Jacobs, the state-of-the-art facility will bring together diverse and high quality multi-disciplinary micro-technology and nano-technology research.
Access to natural light and visual connectivity between research spaces aims to provide a more collaborative working environment for researchers, students and staff. The design enables researchers to communicate via technology between non-clean and clean environments and allows visitors to either observe or engage in activities at the facility.
Highly specialised and technical in nature, the Micro Nano Research Facility comprises Class 100 clean rooms, Class 1,000 clean rooms, a Physical Containment Level 2 Laboratory,
