Bic Bank Opens Branch in Cahama

The Angolan BIC Bank inaugurated on Tuesday in Cahama municipality its fourth branch in the southern Cunene province, under the policy of expanding the banking institution's network of branches and services to the inland municipalities.

The inauguration act was presided over by the vice governor of Cunene for economic affairs, AntÓnio dos Santos Candeeiro.

According to him, the opening of one more branch in the region is a reason of great satisfaction for the economic agents because conditions are being created for the protection of their financial incomes and opportunities to start businesses.

On his turn, BIC Executive Director, Fernandes Duarte, said that the new branch will boost the economic activity in the locality through the payment of salaries and operationalisation of credit.

Fernandes Duarte stressed that BIC Bank is committed to actively participate in the process of socio-economic development of Cahama, financing entrepreneurs, farmers, cattle breeders, traders and other economic operators.

BIC banK has branches in municipalities of Santa-Clara (Namacunde), Ondjiva (Cuanhama), Xangongo (Ombadja) and Cahama.
