Sen. King Introduces Bill to Provide Regulatory Easement for Lending Institutions That Enable Vibrant Economy

WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, has introduced legislation (S. 2698) to "provide regulatory easement for lending institutions that enable a vibrant economy."

The bill was introduced on July 30 and has three co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Mark R Warner, D-Va., Jon Tester, D-Mont., and Deb Fischer, R-Neb.

The legislation was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
