BRIEF: Country concert at Jones Civic Center

Aug. 02--TRENTON -- Music fans will get a chance to see some free country music on Sept. 3 at a concert at the Jones County Civic Center put on by Digity Media, L.L.C., owner of country radio station WRNS.

The show will be headlined by Chase Rice. Rice is touring to support his new album release "Ignite the Night." Some of his recent hits include "Ready Set Roll" and "Gonna Wanna Tonight."

The night will also feature performances by local artists Bryan Mayer and Dean Alexander.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. showtime. Free tickets will given out by WRNS through sponsor promotions, on-air giveaways, and will also be available at the WRNS website at www.wrns.com.

WRNS General Manager Larry Weiss said he is excited abut bringing the show to Trenton.

"WRNS is committed to bringing as much free entertainment as possible to Eastern North Carolina, and we are excited that Bryan, Dean, and Chase have agreed to perform here for WRNS," he said. "We are also grateful for the support of the Jones County Civic Center to host this event."
