Number of Internet users reaches 4.113 million in Kyrgyzstan

The number of Internet users in Kyrgyzstan has reached 4.113 million, according to the Finance Ministry's medium-term budget forecast for 2015-2017, reports Tazabek.

The access level to Internet network makes 72% in the country now.

The landline telephone communication continues developing in Kyrgyzstan, especially in rural areas, which has demand for landline telephones.

21 settlements in the country still do not have telephone communication.

The number of telephones connected to digital rural exchanges makes 98% (452,170) of total digital telephone numbers (461,277).

Telecommunication operators invested $98.4 million into procurement of radio electronic equipment and high frequency devices in 2013.
