BRIEF: Great Give-A-Way on tap for Tuesday

Aug. 19--Fairgoers will have several things to see and do Tuesday night at the Wilson County Fair.

The highlight of Tuesday is the fair's annual Great Give-A-Way. This year features a choice of cars, a minivan, two tractors and an all-terrain vehicle. There is also a nightly cash drawing for a $1,000 prize.

A concert featuring country music artist Wade Hayes is also planned for Tuesday. This year, all concerts at the arena will a dance floor, which is a first for the fair. Organizers encourage all concert patrons to "wear your dancing shoes."

There are numerous livestock shows, including beef cattle and feeder pigs. Go-kart and yard kart races and the doll parade pageant are also on the list for Tuesday.

The Wilson County Fair continues through Saturday with several attractions, including a concert from Mark Chesnutt on Thursday night.
