opening of its France sales office, and key hires in the U.S. and Europe
to lead an aggressive expansion of its global sales effort. Retail sales
veteran Tom Solomon joins the company as Vice President of U.S. Sales.
Former Pricer and Apple sales veteran Jean Michel Luquot joins Altierre
as Vice President of Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa
(EMEA), leading Altierre’s new international sales office in Paris,

Solomon brings extensive retail expertise with 20 years’ experience
leading sales and account management teams in high growth industries.
Most recently he served as Vice President, Sales/Grocery and Business
Development for InComm, a leading provider of prepaid products, services
and transaction technologies that supports more than 400,000 points of
distribution and helps retailers build prepaid card destinations. Tom
led both the grocery channel and retail business development. Solomon
earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Indiana University.

Luquot has over 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing of B2B
technology solutions for retailers. He was most recently Director of
Sales for Europe and Large Accounts Director at Pricer in Europe, where
he led sales management for France, Belgium, Spain and Italy and managed
key retail accounts worldwide. Previously he worked in several sales and
marketing positions at Apple, beginning with launching the Macintosh
personal computer in the French market and ultimately serving as Large
Accounts Director with responsibility for key retail accounts. Luquot
graduated as an Engineer, and has an MBA from INSEAD.
In his new role, Luquot will lead Altierre’s first international sales
office based in Paris, and will oversee sales and customer support in
Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He will be fully responsible for servicing Altierre’s growing list of
customers in these regions.
Altierre also has hired Olivier Caudroy as Technical Sales Director for
EMEA. Olivier was recently National Technical Director for Digi Teraoka
group in France. He has over 20 years’ experience in providing technical
support for retail software and hardware deployments. He has an
engineering degree from L'ESIEE Amiens.
