Philippines,United States : GLOBE TELECOM opts for the NCR Bill Payment Solution for improved customer experience

The Philippine telecom operator Globe Telecom has made an announcement on its selection of the NCR Corporation s NCR Bill Pay solution to provide a convenient payment opportunity to its subscribers.

With the deployment of the new bill payment system, customers will be able to pay their bills themselves through a retail outlet, devoid of any help from staff.

The Director, Stores Transformation Department Ancillary Business, Ed Reyes stated, By providing our customers with the ability to come in and pay their bills through an automated solution, we are giving them a better level of customer service one that separates Globe from our competitors.

After Globe Telecom set up the NCR Bill Pay solution at the retail sites, the telecom services provider has been witnessing persistent growth in the number of its subscribers embracing of the new technology, with over-the-counter cash payments lagging behind the kiosk payment system considerably.

NCR has revealed that customers are now able to reap the benefits of the advanced technology and make payments for their bills via credit cards or using the mobile wallet app - GCash.

Moreover, the Globe customers will be able to refill their pre-paid services or load balance to their GCash accounts through this automated solution.

In addition to these facilities, new functionality and services can be easily added to the NCR Bill Pay system to boost business and improve operational capacities.

Globe Telecom, the major telecommunications services provider in the Philippines, is also looking at other NCR Storefront offerings to provide a better customer experience. The company is headquartered in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
