China : AGRICULTURAL BANK OF CHINA reveals guideline specifying string of PREFERENTIAL POLICIES

A guideline specifying a string of preferential policies has been revealed by the Agricultural Bank of China for backing up the development of northwest China'sXinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The bank plightes to raises credit to the region, planning loans of 100 billion yuan (16.26 billion U.S. dollars) over the next five years in the ten-item guideline.

More financial help would be widened to construct the Silk Road Economic Belt, support the transportation system to associate the region to a wider world.

Other policies covers supporting the textile industry and small enterprises to boost employment, improving services for social welfare and agricultural projects in the region.

The spurring growth in Xinjiang to enable the ethnic groups there to share the fruits of China's growth has been high on the government agenda.
