Turkcell Superonline sees 35% revenue growth for 2014.

Turkcell Superonline expects a 35% growth in revenues this year, general manager Murat Erkan said on Thursday. Superonline is an internet services provider of Turkcell, Turkey's largest mobile operator. Superonline's revenues amounted to TRY 925mn (EUR 321.5mn) last year, according to Erkan.

Superonline's contribution to Turkcell revenues will increase after Turkey introduces 4G technologies on mobile communications, Erkan said, adding that the authorities are expected to introduce the 4G technology in 2015 or 2016.

Revenues of Superonline rose 39% y/y to TRY 309mn in Q2, corresponding to 10.6% of Turkcell's total revenues, according to a presentation on Turkcell's website.

Superonline had total of 1mn subscribers (fibre + ADSL) in Q2. Its fibre subscribers rose by 39,000 in the second quarter to 653,000.
