Do you have a craving for a metallic phone that is the Samsung Galaxy Alpha after seeing it for the first time last week? The good news is, there is an indication that the newest Samsung smartphone will be heading our way in Malaysia, like soon.

A search through SIRIM's database reveals a Samsung device model with the code name SM-G850F, which unmistakably belongs to the Galaxy Alpha. Usually an appearance in the certification site means the release date is imminent. A mid-September release date is probably our best guess, which means a good month after its unveiling.

The Galaxy Alpha is Samsung's long-time coming metallic phone which feature specs such as a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM and quad-core 1.8GHz Exynos 5 Octa 5430 processor. Besides that, it runs on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat and equipped with a 12MP shooter as its main camera.

If the September release date as predicted comes true, it will probably mean we are going to see two large releases here from the Korean company within a span of a month. Going by previous years, the Galaxy Note 4 will likely go on sale at the end of September.
