Today's Music Picks: MAGIC!, Cher Lloyd set for Summer Splash

Aug. 15--It's going to be a MAGIC! evening on Saturday at California's Great America. The Santa Clara amusement park and radio station 99.7 Now! host MAGIC! -- the chart-topping Canadian reggae fusion band known for the smash hit "Rude" -- as part of the annual Summer Splash concert. The other acts on the bill are Cher Lloyd, The Janoskians, Becky G, Jake Miller and Kalin & Myles.

It's a strong lineup, featuring three acts -- MAGIC!, Cher Lloyd and Becky G -- who performed at the recent Teen Choice Awards.

Show time is 6:30 p.m. at Great America's Redwood Amphitheater. The park admission and concert combo ticket is $44.99-$49.99. Great America Season, Gold and Platinum Pass holders can purchase Summer Splash concert-only tickets for $37.99. For more information, visit

**Lynyrd Skynyrd has so much more to offer than just "Free Bird." The group has a whole trunkful of classic-rock anthems -- such as "Sweet Home Alabama," "Gimme Three Steps" and "Saturday Night Special" -- which it will surely unload during its two Bay Area shows. The legendary Southern rock act performs Saturday at the Warfield in San Francisco.
