ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 15 -- Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, has been assigned a patent (8,802,110) developed by five co-inventors for "influenza treatment and/or characterization, human-adapted HA polypeptides; vaccines." The co-inventors are Rahul Raman, Waltham, Massachusetts, Xiaoying Koh, Cambridge, Massachusetts, Karthik Viswanathan, Waltham, Massachusetts, Ram Sasisekharan, Bedford, Massachusetts, and Aarthi Chandrasekaran, San Jose, California.
